Summer doesn't last forever. We spend all winter indoors do it then.How many web/photoshop tutorials do i have to do till a master it /how many is normal per day 4-5 ?
It depends on the difficulty of the tutorials. If you're always doing loads and loads of easy ones each day, you'll likely plateau at a low intermediate level. But if you're doing a tone of hard/time consuming ones and doing them well, then perhaps you'll finish off at a more advanced skill set.





And its a skill set at the end of the day. So it will vary from person to person as to how long it takes them to get it. Some people can become really solid drivers after a few hours in a car, others might take hundreds of hours before they feel comfortable. You're learning a skill, so its going to be different for you from everyone else.





I would consider getting something like Adobe Classroom in a Book books for both software. Then at least you can have a good grasp over the tool sets. Then look to things like Photoshop magazines. There are some good ones in the UK (that show up in stands in North America) that have a good range of tutorials.





And get onto some forums. Do some searches for forums or designer sites where people discuss and showcase their work. When you see what others are doing and maybe talk to them about it, or read their descriptions on how they did it, you'll find new tricks and ways to push yourself to new heights.

The best way to learn electronics is to attend classes and learn it from the ground up. When you have learned the basics and built a lot of equipment you are about 10 % of the way to becoming an expert. You will have to teach yourself eventually, but first get a solid foundation. This will not come from Web sites.





Electronics is not black magic and it follows precise rules. Sometimes you have to operate with poor data and then it becomes important to know what is reasonable or not.





Many times the circuits you see are the same standard circuits or slight variations on them.





But you need to be aware of strange uses for things. A diode, for example, might be used for a lot of different reasons and you need to work out exactly why it is in the circuit. Did you know a diode can act like a variable capacitor?





After you have learned some of the rules of electronics you have a chance of understanding other people's circuits. If you just look at a circuit and count the cost of the components, you will not understand it by building it.


Look for what is unusual about it. What can you learn from it?

Youtube has some cool things but i would start with learning the basics. Its a must to know Ohms law, Resistors, Capacitor, Voltage drops, Power calculations, Rl circuits, and Inductors. These things you will need to learn as math is involved to calculate what should be running through a circuit before you measure with a device. Good question - PHP is a much better choice for beginning progammers then the Fortran guy I just answered!





Do you have access to a web server?





If so, then I recommend installing something like Wordpress blogging software, written in PHP, and studying that to see how to make basic templates.





You can downlaod plenty of examples, and then see how they are similar and how they are differnt from each other.





Modify them to do simple stuff like change the font color at first to get the hang of it.





Then you can make more complex changes, one at a time please if you don't want to pull your hair out too much!





There is an active community of Wordpress template developers, and most of them have pretty basic programming skills in my experience, and they help each other out.





I think this would be a really good way to go if you are on your own. You can probably do what I descinbed with a free hosted Wordpress account - not sure as I host all my own sites.





Probably the place to start is Wordpres.org. Look for documentation on creating templates.





There are other PHP CMS's I am familiar with, you could do the same, but I think they are better for more advanced programmers: Drupal, Joomla/Mambo (all PHP based) and many more exist too. But based on the level of help an complexity I have seen (I work with all of the above) I'd recommend Wordpress for beginners.





Be prepared to learn XHTML (not HTML these days please!) and CSS to go along with the PHP - you will actually be blending all 3 to make a web page.

What's the best software to make a web based tutorial with?

I am putting together a tutorial for work that I would like to look at least somewhat professional without having to be all that software savvy on my end. The finished version has to be playable on the companies intranet with windows media player or quicktime or even swf I suppose. Its not neccessary to learn C to learn C++, most programmers today would actually recoommend that you start off with C++, C++ is superset to C, so it takes all the concepts of C and throws in some new stuff, such as polymorphism. Now the advice I give you, is DON'T rely on web tutorals for any programming language, get a book, or taking a class would be the best thing. The book I learned from was the C++ for dummies book, mine was from the year like 91 or 99 but there is a newer version out now, get that one. Anyway the main componenets for learning a new lanuage are, a few days off to read the book, patience, determination, (maybe) some coffee, the book itslef, and a computer with a compiler on it, if the book does not reccommend one for you I would recommend the latest version of Bloodshed Dev C++ you may find it on the second link below. I've also included a link to the programming site that helped me a lot when I took my first class. To answer your question of difficulty, that can only be answered by yourslef, (for most people) coding itslef is easy, its just like speaking english (to some extent), but the real problem that most people have, is the logic, computers need to be told step by step very specically what to do, and your resposible for coming up with that procedure (algorthim), so before you start a program, get a piece of paper and plan it out! Trust me it helps! GL!!! And may your journey to the land of computer science teach you that learning assembler is like staying up for 24 hours...You only have so much, so its best to optimize your algorthims, and work with what you got!I'm about to study c++ by myself %26amp; web tutorials. i need advice to make speed progress in this study.?

Where can I find a good web tutorial on playing the guitar?

I tried my hand at this in high school with minimal success. Now that I actually possess the discipline to learn an instrument, I was wondering if there was a good web site that covers the basics of playing - chords and such.Where can I find a good web tutorial on playing the guitar?
Be careful, a lot of the guys that have attempted to develop these online guitar training sites have failed miserabely at reaching the goal of training a absolute beginner. I think many of them started with the best intentions, but really were unable to develop a online system that could get the beginner going. I believe it's becaus so many of the guitar players that created these sites are so advanced in thier playing that they were truly incapable of knowing how to teach a true beginner. I have reviewd several tools to help guitar players advance, and i have given you a link below of a few reviews of these type of guitar training sites.

Get a teacher. I always say this, becoming a great player requires the theory behind it, and that is VERY hard to learn alone. Find a teacher who can show you music theory and how it is applied to the guitar
if you don't have itunes, you should download it. you can find a lot of great instructional podcasts which is a great source of free information.

I have been studying PERL very hard all quarter, and it seems like everything on the Internet is written by people who either don't know what they are doing or are too smart to explain it to someone who is a beginner. Tutoriilzed does alot of tutorials ( severatl Thosuand) though sometimes it may require wading through the crap to get the great tutorials. But in the vast ammount they have you cna pretty much always found out hwo to do what you want.

There are several articles and tips about painting and drawing at http://www.learn-to-draw-and-paint.com , this is a free resource, but it is not - stricktly speaking - an art tutorial.





Having said that, the site contains links where you can find whole courses on painting and drawing.
I find plenty of excellent tutorials on www.deviantart.com. Just visit the site and type in what you're looking for. You're bound to find something useful and perhaps interesting. :D

First use Firefox for the Gecko rendering engine and use it as the basis for correctly rendering (X)HTML/CSS.





Then download Chris Pederick's Web Developer toolbar for web designers (web developers are serverside so it's incorrectly named).

1) Started singing along to my MP3/radio


2) Noticed that my throat hurt after singing and then switched to singing from my diaphragm instead of my vocal cords


3)Built up abdominal muscles for more support


4) Let myself just sing even if I looked like an idiot





Music's all about having fun, just let loose and don't be afraid to mess up. If you have that fear than you're holding yourself back and you won't be able to sing properly. You really ought to take at least a few lessons unless you can record yourself and can really hear yourself when you playback. We often don't hear ourselves as other hear us and an unbiased opinion can be a great help.
you should try humming while playing just to make sure you can keep the rhythm. voice comes naturally, but a chorus class could help
